Strikeforce Challenger Series

Just to give a little info on the tournament that strikeforce is having tomorrow night on the challenger series. The 4 women in question are Miesha "Takedown" Tate, Hitomi Akano, Carina Damm, & Maiju Kujala. Now I do not know much about any of these women, so I did the responsible thing adn did some research on them all. First one I looked into was Miesha Tate.

Now I have seen Miesha fight Sara Kaufman a few months ago from a fight that took place back in may of 09. It was the first time the Kaufman was taken the distance in a fight. Which was pretty awesome. Kaufman is an amazing female fighter & Tate took all she had & wouldn't stay down in the first round. Second round Tate dominated with take downs & wrestling in the cage. Third round Tate tried to keep up the work with the take downs as it worked in the second but she was to tired after the hard work in the fight & Kaufman won by decision. Skip ahead to March of this year when Tate took on Zoila Frausto. Tate had worked more on her standing game, which was obvious in the first round. But the second round Frausto nailed some impressive front kicks. Once it went to the mat it looked to be all but over & it was onloy a matter of time before Tate won it with an armbar. Tate is very impressive & I can't wait to see her fight on Friday night.

Second round of that fight can be see here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsHiweANdcM&feature=related

The other 3 fighters were hard to find good, quality fights. Also, the ones I saw, unless I over looked one, were not in English. Of course, I am backing the only American in the tournament. May be biased, but I don't have time to put in the effort like I need to. With the internet being unpredictable, its hard to do a lot of video research, which with MMA is what is best. But still tune in, because im sure it is going to be a hell of a night of action. Should be great.

Also real quick, I started a hashtag on twitter called #ItShouldBeAManLaw. Got the idea from Jimmy Fallon, who is always doing all sorts of different hashtags on twitter. So if you have any good ones, tweet them to the world & try to mention my name @theanswerchaos &/or @jimmyfallon so he will see them & hopefully it will make his show. Would be really awesome if that could happen...

TNA Impact 08-05-2010

So as I prepare for the first time ever to actually blog while I am watching TNA Impact, I thought I would share some thoughts before hand about last week. First off, the Hogan coming into the ring thing with the ECW guys was dumb. I mean hell must have frozen over. Apparently Hogan is not to thrilled about the whole ECW thing taking over a ppv. But I assume he realizes that this is something the fans wants to see & this could possibly get new fans to tune in to watch a TNA ppv. I really hope and pray that after this ppv that the wrestling world will let ECW lay to rest. I love ECW, don't get me wrong. But the more they keep bringing it back, the more it is hurting the legacy of ECW as a whole. The blood, sweat, and tears that a lot of guys who are forgotten about will be pissed about cause they are not even getting an invite to this show. How could they do that? Cause they are going to hurt it & only trying to further their own legacy instead of doing it justice. Anyway, the show is starting now. reviewing what happened last week. Great ending with Raven though. Although that was predictable. The licking of Dreamer's face was disturbing though. Really Scott? I mean really? OK then.

Show opens with fireworks as usual & hype of the ppv. Tonight is Abyss & Raven vs RVD & Dreamer. Few familiar faces in the locker room today from what Taz says.

Tommy Dreamer comes to the ring as the announcers let it be known that Dreamer vs Raven is happening at the ppv. Dreamer calls out Raven, who by the way has always had a very suiting entrance music throughout his whole TNA career. Dreamer asks why? Dreamer breaks kayfabe. Now crowd is chanting "Uncle Scotty" at Raven. Thanks Dreamer. Raven says Dreamer stole his girl, talking about Beulah. Says those kids should be his. Says she should be his. He will never forgive him for that. (Now only all the old school ECW fans know how bad this feud was in the ECW days. Explanation of it can not do it justice. But I may try to do it tonight later.) Wow. Raven says his wife is going to be calling him daddy after he releases some hard justice of his own. Dreamer hits Raven, Abyss out, then RVD out with a chair. Raven gives Dreamer the Evenflow DDT on the stage. You see, the Evenflow DDT is what he called it in ECW. Not the Raven Effect. Then Foley comes out with the barbwire bat to hit Raven. Foley announces he is the special ref for the match at the ppv between Raven & Dreamer.

MCMG vs Beer Money in an Ultimate X amtch. Ric Flair vs Jay Lethal in a street fight, and if Fortune gets involved than Flair is gone for 90 days. Plus the main even announced already. The Beautiful People comes out now set for action. The Knockouts tag team champs are set to defend the belts tonight against Taylor & Hamada next as Impact goes to break.

Come back to see Taylor & Hamada come to the ring. Velvet spouting off that this is her title. (NOTE: I am not giving a full play by play of all the wrestling. I can't keep up and not even going to try.) Lacey does hit a few good moves though. No chain wrestler in there though. Lots of double teaming by TBP. Lacey looks lost in the ring with Hamada. Taylor comes in & drops her on her head. All 4 women in the ring now. Challengers have upper hand. Madison comes out on stage & the motorcycle woman comes through the crowd again. Velvet slaps the hell out of Slick Johnson. Damn. Sorry bro. The woman in black hands Lacey a chair and she sets it up perfectly to get dropkicked into her face. Slick gets up and counts OVER the chair, I mean come on. I know you have a job to do, but the chair was right there. I blame Taylor for not sliding the chair out of the ring. Anyway, new KO tag team champs are Taylor & Hamada. Madison is upset, & Velvet is having a cow about losing the belts. Wonder what will happen later on in the show from this.

A.J. Styles to defend the newly christened Television Title against Rob Terry tonight as well. We come back from break & this is the match that is about to happen. Ref tells Kaz to leave, then Styles tells Earl Hebner to leave. Haha. Good stuff. Terry all over Styles. Let's see how much better a wrestler he is now. Looks to me like his ring psychology has gotten better. Ok this is funny stuff. Total heel by Styles. Only like 5 or 6 moves in the match by Styles. 450 gets the win. Still a nice looking 450 he has.

Move on to Kurt Angle in a taped segment. Now Jay Lethal from "earlier today" talking about Flair and the match tonight. Back from commercial as they hype next week's show on Spike. Need to hype it more. Brawl being broke up in the back with Madison & Velvet. Velvet throws Lacey into a loading box of some sort and Lacey is hurt. Velvet says truce my ass and then realizes she hurt Lacey. Checks on her while asking for help. Beer Money vs the Guns in the next match of the best of 5 series. Lots of BS talk before the match, which will probably end up being a good thing. Chris Sabin gets on the mic after Roode is done & gets intense. I love it. Its about damn time TNA pushes them like this. I just hate to say, if I had to bet, I would bet that Beer Money ends up winning the 5th match. Lots of back & forth action in this one. These 4 men are proving why they are the 2 best tag teams that are on a main stage in the US. Sabin's hesitation dropkick is still amazing looking. Robert Roode is bleeding again. This guy has got to love the sight of his own blood. Robert Roode looking a little shaky on that top rope but finally gets on the cables making his way to the X to get cut off. Sabin been on the floor for a while now. Until now, climbing up. I have mentioned it before, the only person I have ever seen do a spinebuster as good as Roode is of course Arn Anderson & Triple H. Crowd chating "THIS IS AWESOME!" & I would have to agree. Sliced Bread #2 on the apron by Shelley to Storm. Roode is walking on top of the ropes and Sabin knocks him off to get the X and win the match. 2-2 now going into either the ppv or next week's huge show on Spike. Hogan & Bischoff making their way out to address the fans. To talk about the show next week I assume.

So the bigheads, I means egomaniacs, make their way out to the ring. They make a nice run down of the show next week. I will list all the going ons later. Nash comes out upset that he is not mentioned for the show, & Hogan says he needs to realize he is out & the young guns are in. Nash throws down Eric & beats on Hogan after he takes a few shots from Hogan. Nash with a chair now. Jarrett comes in to save Hogan Now Sting comes in wearing red face paint & attacks Jarrett. Sting with a chair shot to Hogan. One would have to assume that this means that TNA is putting the Wolfpac back together. I kinda like it, but just hope that this doesn't turn into the nWo red & black. Let them just redo the Main Event Mafia. I mean that is at least a TNA idea & concept.

As we come back from break Christy Hemme found Nash & Sting but they just walk away. Now we have Da Pope vs Orlando Jordan. Not really into this. Love Da Pope, but not so hot on Jordan. Good wrestler, but I like don't like the gimmick. Not hating on him for being a bisexual, but come on man, leave it in the bedroom. I never like any of these gimmicks over the years. Even though they do get over very well, as long as you have the right person doing them. Pope wins. Now Matt Morgan comes out & attacks Da Pope. Now hears comes Anderson with a chair. Why has everyone got a chair tonight?

Flair interview, just a basic Flair interview. Use your imagination.

Flair vs Lethal on now & I really think that this match could have main evented the show. Do I even need to comment on the match? I mean really. It was good, till the whole stripping thing. Flair wins cause of the interference of Douglas Williams. Explain that? Gladly. Flair went around the rules to make sure he won. There. Explained. Of course this should set up a thing between Williams and Lethal. Should be good for the X Division. They need a better feud than they have had.

OK so RBD actually had a pretty bad promo until Jerry Lynn came up & said he was the champs opponent.

Main event time as Raven & Abyss vs RVD & Dreamer. You know this Sunday is gonna be the 3rd time the Raven & Dreamer have had a "final" match to settle the score. Dreamer wins everytime. Raven needs to win this one. Taz is trying to catch everyone up on the whole ECW angle that started the Raven/Dreamer feud. RVD & Dreamer win. DDT by Dreamer on Raven followed by a 5 Star Frog Splash. Abyss attacks after the match. Stevie comes out, Abyss takes him out. Same with Rhino. Now 3D comes out. Raven gets 3D with chair shots. Again with the chair. Lights go out and the SANDMAN is in the ring swinging his cane. Takes out Raven & then Abyss. Rest of the EV 2.0 guys stand up. Mick Foley now comes out &he ain't coming alone. Coming out with him is Jerry Lynn with Al Snow and Simon Diamond (kayfabe) carrying a cooler. Has to be beer in it but TNA goes off the air before they get to the ring. Everyone excited about the Sandman coming in.

So the hype for the ppv comes with a video package to hype the ppv. Not a good "go home show" but it could have been worse. They were trying to tie 2 go home shows into one. Cause of the ppv and cause of the huge show next week. The line up for next week includes an open challenge that Jeff Hardy has made for anyone in the wrestling world. Chris Chaos is not accepting before anyone gets that idea. Plus for the Knockouts Title its Madison Rayne putting the gold on the line against Angelina Love again. This time I expect Angel to win by help of Velbet & they put the original band back together. Then a 3 way match that sees Matt Morgan v Da Pope v Anderson. Then we will see match 5 of the best of 5 series between the Guns & Beer Money in a 2 out of 3 falls match. Kurt Angle vs A.J. Styles in what will probably be a non title match. And of course the main event of RVD defending against Abyss in what they are calling the Stairway to Janice match. A play on the ECW match Stairway to Hell that was done a few times back in the day. Of course they never tell you these things. Gotta leave it to people like me to explain it. All in all looks like a really great show. I really can't wait for it. But its not live, & its not commercial free so I still think TNA has screwed themselves in this case. That is a ppv lineup there & they are giving the ppv time to do this ECW reunion, which will not draw the numbers that TNA has been doing in the past few months. And they been doing some pretty low numbers. Go check. Its not pretty. So they are going to give away for free what they should be doing on ppv & doing on ppv what they should be doing for free. Makes perfect sense. at least as far as TNA goes. Cause they still just don't get it. And it looks like they never will fully get it either...

What I like

So I just want to make it clear some of the things that I have been dedicated to over the years of my life. God, family, friends; these are things that are no secret. I mean come on, I live in the south & all of that is very important around here. What Im talking about is my hobbies. What kinda sports do I watch? What are my favorite teams? What wrestling shows do I watch, not watch? Who am I following? So allow me to clear the air, because sometimes it becomes a little fuzzy. Im also gonna list a few of my favorite followers from Twitter. All the ones list you can I tweet numerous times on a daily basis. Believe that. So pay attention & I'll get started.

So Im gonna start this off with a sport that I have watched since I was a little kid, but just mostly just causal viewing. Until 3 years ago. The NBA. Oh how I LOVE the NBA. Good stuff that NBA (and hey, I even sometimes get into a few WNBA games too, good stuff there). As a kid, like many people did back in the 90s, I was a big Bulls fan. I mean who wasn't, right? Today's Bulls are struggling to get back to the place they once were, as a franchise. But its tough when you got peeps like LBJ, Kobe, Melo, Dirk, Howard, Boston's Big 3 + Rondo, etc. NBA was really the only thing other than wrestling I loved as a kid. Now its just about everything. Although I did go through a period where I was a baseball fan, but I enjoyed playing it more than watching the MLB.

Today I have about six teams in the NBA that I cheer for. With only 2 I will cheer for over any others. Listed below are the six teams that I cherish and root for:
1. Boston Celtics
Denver Nuggets
3. Memphis Grizzlies
4. Orlando Magic
5. Miami Heat
6. Sacramento Kings

I listed the Celtics & Nuggets as a tie for one because they are my favorite two. and I hate to pull for one or the other when they are playing. Its always a good time for me, however those games only happen 2 or 3 times a year. Got to see 2 of the meetings this year. Both good games, each dominated one.

The Grizzlies are three because they are the "hometown" team. Closest team to where I live in Mississippi. So I have to get behind them. I mean. I don't, but I do. Orlando goes back to the days of Shaq & Penny Hardaway. Anyone remember him? Good player he was. Plus I love how Superman leads that team. Although I would love for the team to be centered around him, this season they seem to be moving towards Vince Carter. Good addition to the team. Miami is simple, I love watching Dwayne Wade play. I think that team is one more big player away from the NBA Finals and the Championship. Just my opinion. But I bet Shyne would agree with me.

Now for the Kings. OH MAN! I could go on for days. This is a team that I loved back in 99-2003. After the 2002 season(I think), they started getting rid of all their good players to make room. Make room for what you ask? I have no clue. They had a great team, but after coming so close to beating the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals in 2002. They were the number one seed in the west & had the best team I think in the NBA that year. But yet, Kobe denied them and it all started to fall apart. Now I still like the Kings team, even though I don't like the owners. I hate the Maloof Brothers very much. They even tried to take a team that had the rowdiest fans in the league(And most devoted, making every home game a sellout for a long time) at the time. I don't want to write about all they did. It will break my heart again. I will say that Tyreke Evans is the only reason I have still got them on my list. I hate to completely give up on them, cause I have put so much time in them.

On to football, college football is all Florida Gators. Now being from the SEC country, I like all SEC teams. But Florida is top rated in my book. Favorite in college basketball to, just so you know. Also got to give props to Notre Dame. Love the Fighting Irish. Guess its cause Im Irish. Sue me.

NFL, Ravens, Vikings(Favre & Harvin. Harvin is a former Gator. Gotta show love.).Not a huge NFL fan, but Im trying.

Tennis is all Andy Roddick & Maria Sharapova. Yeah, I went there.

Wrestling as we all know, I am all WWE. Will be probably the rest of my life. Not TNA. Not anymore. There stuff just pisses me off to much. Hate it.

ROH! (Call me)

OK so that is all your getting, cause I am just tired of doing this. Taking to long. Till next time remember, "Sometimes Chaos is the only Answer..."

Wrestlemania Time Again

YES! That's right folks, it's Wrestlemania time again. This is always a special time for wrestling fans and wrestlers alike. Although if your not a WWE fan, then you pretty much have no reason to get excited. If that is you, I don't care for you. Cause let's be honest, this is the biggest stage in wrestling. If you are a wrestler & don't want to be on this show doing the one thing that you do best, you might should look at your passion. For fans, this is probably the greatest wrestling experience that one will ever have. There is so much going on during the weekend that even a casual fan would have an experience of a lifetime. Now I could go on & on about how good the weekend is & what all you can do during it. But Im not gonna write about that. Cause most fans will never get to experience this, although it is something that every fan needs to do. This is gonna be about the main even of the weekend. The ultimate showcase of wrestling, & I know that a lot could argue with that. As could I. But anyway, Im gonna do my best to cover all the matches that is taking place this Sunday to best of my abilities. I am also going to say, that this year the WWE is giving the best Hall of Fame that they have ever done. But I plan on writing a whole blog about that later. So be on the look out. Let's go down the card. Im gonna start off with the under card and finish with the main events.

Match 1
Triple Threat: Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton vs Ted Dibiase
Im gonna start this off with the Triple Threat because this is months in the making. Since last July, the WWE Universe (yeah I actually said that, Im shocked too) has been teased with a Legacy split. After the Elimination Chamber PPV we all knew that this was coming to a head. Legacy has cost Randy the WWE Title on so many occasions, first against Cena, then Sheamus, and then Dibiase pinning him in the chamber, it makes perfect sense to have this match on the grandest stage of the year for the WWE. Randy has that ability to make everything he touches special. Not every wrestler has that ability. Take for instance Cody Rhodes. If he was not aligned with Orton for the past 18 months or so and now in this heated feud, would anyone care about him. I mean not many people care to much about his brother. Or ever really did, although he is a great talent that I think has been misused. **Sidebar: Go find a match between Goldust and Chris Jericho from WWE Superstars a few weeks ago. It is a great old school match. Wish they were all like that.** Anyway, Randy can make this special. Of course you got to expect that during this match, the members of Legacy are going to be engaged in a heated battle within the war that this has become. These two stars are only going to shine even brighter in the years to come. This is going to be their first Wrestlemania that they are actually competing on. So the nerves have got to be there, but Im banking that once the bell rings and the adrenaline takes over, that will be a mute point. These guys deserve to be there, and with Randy leading the way, this match has the chance to become one of the top WM matches ever; non title classic of course.

Match 2
Triple H vs Sheamus
Now this match is one that I feel like was just put together to help lift Sheamus' confidence and make him a stand out star. For those that are in the know, these two men have become close in the last few months. They both work out together & I can see Trips as being some what of a mentor to him. And Trips must think highly of him to actually want to work a mid-card match with him at WM. I mean think about it. Since WM 18, ever time Trips has been healthy to compete, he has competed for a world title. Let's look at this:
WM 18 - vs Chris Jericho for the Undisputed WWE Title
WM 19 - vs Booker T for the World Heavyweight Title
WM 20 - vs HBK & Chris Benoit for the World Heavyweight Title
WM 21 - vs Batista for the World Heavyweight Title
WM 22 - vs John Cena for the WWE Title
WM 23 - Out with an injury
WM 24 - vs Randy Orton & John Cena for the WWE Title
WM 25 - vs Randy Orton for the WWE Title
So I mean he has got to see something special in the first ever "Irish Born WWE Champion." This could either be very special, or very disappointing. But knowing Trips, I bet it is gonna wind up being a very interesting match to say the least. WWE is hoping, as am I, that this match is going to make this guy a star. As if winning the WWE Title in his first year wasn't good enough, this could be the cherry on top.

Match 3
Street Fight: CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio
Now I just love what WWE is doing with CM Punk. How much of this is his idea, who knows? But I love it. This is Punk at his best. This is still going to be a very special match for both these guys. Not much of a high profile match, but still something I think will become a hidden gem. More or less because of the overall storyline with Punk. Although the angle picked up steam a few weeks ago with that little spot on Smackdown. Getting personal with a story to me is always gold. Makes it more real, even if its not. Like I said, a classic gem that will be forgotten about by many until it makes a "Best of CM Punk" WWE dvd. Should be good.

Match 4
Unified Tag Team Championship: Big Show & The Miz(c) vs. John Morrison & R-Truth
Just a filler match that is going to end up being probably one of the top 3 matches on the card. I mean just look at who is in it. I don't see the titles changing, but I could be wrong. All I can say about this though is that its gonna be a great match and have a wild finish. I can see it now. But I think WWE is using this as a filler match for the most part. And they know they pissed a lot of people off last year. Still can't believe they did that.

Match 5
Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Kane vs Christian vs MVP vs Shelton Benjamin vs Drew McIntyre vs Kofi Kingston vs Jack Swagger vs Matt Hardy vs Evan Bourne vs Dolph Ziggler
WOW! So this match is full of guys that is ready to jump into that main event spot. Guys that should win this are Kane, Christian, Hardy, MVP, and Shelton. They deserve it the most. Im gonna feel cheated if none of these guys win it. Guys like Kofi, Dolph, and Swagger are right there. They could win it, and get thrust into the spotlight at any time. I don't need to say anything about this, because the ending is the end all beat all to this match. The winner is what is gonna make this match good. Period.

Match 6
No Holds Barred: Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon
13 years in the making, going all the way back to the Montreal Screwjob. I mean what can I say about this that hasn't already been said a 1,000 times, either by WWE or other 3rd parties. This has been long coming and I am excited for it. Word has it that Bret is not going to wear his trademark pink & black tights. I think it is cause he is so outta shape that he is embarrassed to wear them. I can understand. Seems to me like he has had plenty of time to work on his body, although seeing he is older now, been outta the ring for a decade, and has suffered a stroke, the fact that he is even attempting to get back in the ring is a miracle. Think about that for a little while. Bret ending his career is the main reason I hate Bill Goldberg. Just saying. Look it up.

Match 7
Career vs the Streak: Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker
Now let's look back to last year. The match that won match of the year. Now just watching that match again not to long ago, I can honestly say that it wasn't all that great, but still pretty good. I think it was one of those that was better in the moment. This year it is all on the line, Taker's streak and Shawn's career. I for one have no clue how this is gonna end, but after the history these two have had, it is certain to be really good either way. Beating Taker will just add to HBK's legend. I mean we all know he is going into the Hall of Fame anyway one day. Could be as soon as next year. Maybe. I still think it should be a few years away. Although Taker is coming up on the end of his career as well. If this is HBK's last match, at least for the foreseeable future, all I have to say is that he served us all well. I mean after all he has given to this business, if he decides to step down on his own terms, then its all good. Lots of guys can't do it that way. To walk away on your own is something that many hope for, but very few achieve. This match is going to be special either way. Fans should buy the ppv for this and the Bret/Vince match alone. But we are still not done.

Match 8
World Heavyweight Championship: Chris Jericho(c) vs. Edge
In the match that really should be the main event of the event, but will probably fall in the semi main spot, You have the brass and arrogant Chris Jericho vs Edge. The Rated-R Superstar has numerous monikers, the ultimate opportunist is the one I like best. I feel like winning the Royal Rumble after coming back from an injury is the thing that is gonna give Edge the nod & the title in this match. Plus Smackdown is lacking a little in main event talent, so it makes sense to have him win & continue this feud. So that's my two cents. I really think that these two can have a really good match. Should be a classic bout between two guys that should end as Hall of Famers by the end of their careers as well.

Match 9
WWE Championship: Batista (c) vs John Cena
In what Im sure is gonna end up being an all out fight. I really don't think this is going to a scientific match by no means. Mostly because neither of them work that way for the most part. The feud between these two has been a long time in the making. All the way back at WM 21 when they both won separate World Titles, I knew that one day it would work out to where they would have a match for one of the titles on the biggest stage of the year. Batista has really come into his own as a heel since winning the WWE Title. When he won the title at the EC ppv, i thought it was kinda genius. I mean no one could have saw that coming. Except me. If I was paying attention. But I was certain that Sheamus would somehow come out with the title, face Triple H and be made into the superstar the company wants. However that didn't happen & now we are left with this instead. I don't think its a bad choice. Again, its not gonna be a scientific match by no means, but an all out fight. Should still be entertaining.

My predictions for Wrestlemania area as follows:
Randy Orton
Sheamus
CM Punk
ShowMiz
Drew McIntyre
Taker - expect some kind of swerve
Bret Hart
Edge
Cena

Biggest prediction of all, Drew McIntyre cashes in the Money in the Bank Breifcase on Edge. If he both win, count on it. So that is all folks, I'll see you next time & remember, Sometimes Chaos is the only Answer...

Also I will leave you with my latest video. I talk respect for a few guys in particular. Check it out yo...

One Minute with Chaos Part I: Jeremy Borash

So this is my video idea concept. Just a video dedicated to a single idea or person. More will be done in the future. Also Im about to update everything and give me thoughts on Wrestlemania with it being a week out. Actually its 8 days off, if you want to be a prick about it. But still, the time is growing closer and closer. Im just hoping that WWE doesn't decide to screw us like they did last year with the Tag Team Titles unification match. Those bastards! DON'T DO THAT JUNK AGAIN! NOT COOL! We all know "Card Subject To Change" but lets be real about it. Why would you hype a match like that and then not have it on the ppv. WWE knows how to waste time, not just on the weekly shows, but apparently on ppvs now as well. Just look at Taker & HBK's entrances from last year. Even though it was done nicely, a lot of time was wasted. I could go on, but Im banking that you see my point. Anyway, enjoy the video above & let me know what you think about the concept. Also if you have any ideas, then let me know & I will do videos for the best ideas. Or the ones that fire me up the most. Always enjoy those...

So this is TNA....

So I have decided to finally crawl out of the hole I have been in the past month plus and talk about something that is one of the focal parts of my life. That would be wrestling, in case you are new here. I want to apologize in advance, not for the long ramblings that this is going to be or if I offend someone by it, but because everything in my head is in so much chaos (pardon the pun) that I have no clue if this is even gonna make sense. But as always, I will try my best. I’m gonna try to hit everything here.

The state of wrestling lately (last month or so) has me wondering about how the business will be left in 10 years. It seems that TNA right now is more worried about taking it to the WWE and beating them as soon as they can, rather than trying to build a company that will last longer than WCW did. WCW only spent 13 years in existence. Founded in 1988, they didn't really take off till Hogan came in during the summer of 1994. Then a full year later, WCW decided to go head to head with the then WWF Raw. Labor Day of 1995 Nitro debuted. (This history lesson brought to you in full by Chaos who knows more than you do, get over it)

So why in the world would TNA decide, after only 2 months with Hogan and Bischoff in the company, to go live on every other Monday? There must be high hopes in that company. Granted, TNA's numbers have improved, a little. I don't know how, because most of TNA's core audience that brought them to the dance has left. They don't like what's going on. I can't say that I blame them. They are taking things such as the X Division and the Knockouts (which has been the highest rated segment for the show almost since they started the division in 2007 at Bound for Glory). Think about it. NO! Really! Think about this for a minute. TNA is trying to get rich off stars that WWE has made. Pope, Mr. "Don't call me Kennedy" Anderson (Who needs a new gimmick, not because it sucks, but because he is allowed to do the same crap that he did in WWE. If I was Vince I would sue them and kill them now. If that's not gimmick infringement I don't know what is.). But this is all okay I guess, because WCW did the same thing back in the day. So how mad can someone be about that? A lot apparently.

Two months into this new “era” of TNA and let’s look at a few things that are notable.
• The Knockouts Tag Team Titles
• The X Division
• Bringing in old stars
• Not capitalizing on certain wrestlers
• Changes in appearance
• Hogan and Flair wrestling
• Hogan and Bischoff running the show
I think that will do for the time being. That is going to be enough to give you a brain fart. I just had one typing that list. But I digress and move on.

For those fans that are new to TNA, THEY DO HAVE A KNOCKOUTS TAG TEAM TITLE! See this is something you wouldn’t have known because they haven’t appeared or hardly made any mention of it or the women that hole those belts since the January 4th show. And let’s be honest, that match they had on the 4th was horrible. Not long enough to showcase anything. I know they had a lot going on that night, but I still feel like they missed the ball on actually showcasing the talent they had on the show that night. Way to many backstage segments. That is one reason people aren’t entertained by the SPORT of wrestling anymore. That is why it is so hard to draw on an indy show. Trust me on that, I know. But if you don’t believe me, go find Tony Dabbs and ask him. He will tell you the same thing. Or he should.

For years, TNA has had the focal point of the X Division. Now they don't even have an X Division wrestler holding the belt. They have a tag team wrestler holding it. That should change at the next ppv, if they are smart. Meaning if they are really going to do what's right, then they will put the title on Kaz and hopefully bring something back to a title that really hasn't meant much in the last 4 months. Amazing Red having the belt started off as a really good idea. I would have done it to. However they let that fizzle out after they took Don West off him. Now they promote having an all X Division ppv, which would be good, however they do not have enough X stars to draw a ppv. Some people would watch, but it wouldn’t draw like it needs to. So they changed it. No reason was given. Smart move. Why state the obvious.

The only real problem I have here is the Nasty Boys being brought in. This could have been done years ago, but for whatever reason it wasn’t. Those guys are so outta shape and have no business being there now. Not when TNA is trying to build an audience that is gonna want to watch their product. My opinion.

Now I will admit that I am a little partial on TNA not using certain people. Guilty, I am. People like Melissa Anderson. TNA missed out on a HUGE feud between Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed. Would have been a good angle, Saeed costs Kong and Hamada the tag belts, Kong goes after Saeed. If I was booking this, I could have gotten 2 months at least out of it. And that is putting it on TV every week. But TNA once again decided not to do anything with Saeed, or Anderson to those that don’t know. Sorry Melissa, Chaos still loves you, but this has to be made. Anderson also has two other very good gimmicks. I love both. I can not lie. So do I love Melissa? Maybe. Not as much as someone else I know though. This person would kill me to get to her. Oh well. What a way to go. It doesn’t matter now because she is gone from the company, and form the looks of it so is Kong. Did I also mention she can wrestle and actually make a match worth watching? If I didn’t I should have. TNA needs more women wrestler that can get a story over and can actually wrestle. I have always praised the Knockouts over the Divas of WWE, because they can make a match better. Mostly cause they are not so consumed with how they look and making sure they show as much skin as possible. So am I the only one who wants to see women that can actually wrestle and not so concerned with the “prettiest” ones being on TV or having a title? I know I’m not. So what gives? Guess I’ll let TNA answer this one. They can’t keep pissing on the loyalist of fans, because eventually they will get tired of the smell.

Notable changes in appearance have all been good. I will give them credit. Getting rid of the 6-sided ring and replacing it with a regular one was a smart move. No matter how many people don’t like it. It made sense. But it is gonna make this Ultimate X match at the Destination X ppv is going to be interesting to see. Hope they tighten the ropes up. Also the ramp leading to the ring is like old school WCW, which I always liked. So that to me is a positive. I like the new stage to. Everyone comes out of the same hole. Which breaks the assumption that the wrestlers are on opposite sides of the arena. Like it. Looks more professional. All good there. (SEE, this is not a total bashing of TNA, just what I notice).

So Hulk Hogan is wrestling this coming Monday. Wow! I really didn’t think it would happen this quick. I knew he would get back in the ring, even though he doesn’t belong in there. He even said this himself. He has to many health problems and is gonna wrestle till he dies apparently. The worst part about this is people apparently want him to kill himself for this business. It’s not worth it. Hogan even said it himself; this business is like a drug. He is an addict that needs his fix. He said he walked by a ring, touched the apron, and he was like an addict. I can understand, however I don’t approve. He shouldn’t have to get in the ring to draw an audience. TNA has a roster full of guys that can draw the show. Flair getting back into the ring in the US is just a giant middle finger to Vince. I understand that he regrets retiring, but Vince went all out for him. Its funny how people want to focus on the bad things Vince has done to the business. But come on, without Vince there would be no business. Just something to think about before you go spouting off with your words that make you look stupid.

I will end this by making a bold statement. I haven’t heard anyone else say this, so I must be the only one who thinks it. I do not think Hogan and Bischoff came in to take control of this company. I have a very hard time believing this. Maybe its because from a business standpoint it makes no sense. Unless it’s all for publicity, which I’m banking it is. Let’s make the public think that Hogan is in charge of all things TNA. I don’t buy it. Now I could be wrong, but until Dixie Carter herself calls me to Nashville and proves to me that this is all true, I stand by my statement. Thank you.

I want to take this time to answer two questions given to me by two guys on twitter. You need to check out both these guys, because they are cool. @jrayoftheyear made the statement: ROH = Pure Wrestling, WWE = Pure Entertainment with a Global Outreach, TNA = Repeating History of WCW. I couldn’t agree more. Refer to what I said earlier. It fits. Also @keiffers4 wants to know why there is not any good, long lasting, feuds anymore. One and done. Mostly because people’s attention span is at 0. Meaning that people are not gonna stay focused on something for very long. It sucks. It really does because people get bored to easily these days. It happens. Although I can’t be 1000% on that because people have been bored with Cena for years and he stays the same. So there goes my argument. Oh well, I tried.

As with that I am gonna leave you guys I spent to long on this. Watch out for a very fascinating WWE blog soon as we are on the “Road to Wrestlemania!” LOL. I will break it all down. You are warned...

NFL Picks

Just for everyone's knowledge, my NFL piucks for the week are Colts over the Jets, and the Vikings over the Saints (which I predict is going to be a shootout). Love the Saints, but I am a Favre fan first. Hate to have to go against them. I just think Favre has more reliable weapons. Brees has more weapons, but not more reliable ones. Jut the way I see it. Short and sweet today. Update later on...

Introduced, Promoted, Gone

So after many months on twitter getting to know some very cool people (my cool people blog post will come later on in the very near future, cause you need to follow these people too), I came across this one chick. WrestleBunny (http://twitter.com/WrestleBunny). Cool chick. Huge wrestling fan, but even bigger TNA fan. Which is cool to see. Anyway, she has some cool tweets and does a lot of videos for youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/wrestlebunny). She did a video a few days ago asking fans of TNA to choose 3 people; 1 to be introduced to TNA, 1 to be promoted in TNA, and the last 1 to be gone or fired from TNA. I watched it, didn't think much about it. But then I watched it again. Got me to thinking, so now I present to you Introduced, Promoted, & Gone from TNA. These are views expressed by Chris Chaos and Chris Chaos alone. However if you disagree with these views, who cares? No asked you and I will get Panda to slap you. (Refer to WrestleBunny to understand that one, and then get slapped for not knowing...)

Introduced - After much deliberation, and a smoke, I have decided that there is one clear cut choice for this answer. Teddy Hart. The nephew of Hall of Famer Bret "The Hitman" Hart and one of the last members from the TRUE Hart Dynasty. Anyone who has seen this dude wrestle knows how great he is at what he does. I mean if you need any convincing then check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yHEjO4rXWA
Dude is also great on the stick, which according to Hogan is something that everyone needs to be great at. Case in point: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZwMSkZFF8I&feature=related but be forewarned that he a very unique delivery, probably no one likes him and definitely the reason everyone should.
Also he has a passion for the business. Need proof, well okay then: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sP1u_6nstxQ
Teddy Hart, yeah, he needs to be in there. Forget about his past "incidents" and just do the right thing. Teddy Hart is going to be a living legend, if he doesn't kill himself entertaining the fans first. Dude is crazy, but guaranteed to leave everything he has in the ring. Better believe that.

Promoted: the Motor City Machine Guns. Think about, who on TNA put on the best matches every time they get in the ring? Who works the hardest to make sure the fans get what they paid for? Ok, i know what your thinking. So does Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. But let's be real for a minute. How much more can they be promoted without owning TNA? I mean come on. The Guns also get put in matches to make others look good. Case in point the match they just had on TV last week against the debuting Young Bucks, or Generation ME as they are now going by in TNA. How awesome was that match? No video proof needed here, as anyone who knows and follows TNA can attest, they are two of the most under rated guys there. Even when it looks like they are getting a push, there is no build up for it. Anyone remember the 2 tag title matches they had last year on PPV? If you do I'm surprised. The first one was turned into a triple threat that had no point of them even being in there, and the second one was just booked very badly. I think point made on this one.

Gone: Lacey Von Erich. For someone who comes from a wrestling family with a great tradition and legacy, you wouldn't know it by the way she walks around TNA. Rumor has it that this whole wrestling thing is a joke to her. Which makes sense seeing you never see her in the ring. She is only there to make the other 2 look good. Which she does. Did anyone see her debut in TNA? She looked horrible. And weak. I thought "the Claw" thing was a nice touch, but she even made that look horrible. And hasn't done it since, which is probably a good thing. She has only been in one match on TV since then that I can recall and was only in there for maybe 15 seconds top. She took no bumps, and the only moves she did was choking someone in the corner. That and tossing her hair back. Guess she wants to be Maryse. Anyway, I would think that if anyone, she would be taking this job seriously. I mean there has got to be maybe 1000 women wrestlers that would love to be in her spot. Hopefully this thing between Angel and TBP turns into TNA firing her and Angel taking back her place in TBP. But who knows.

So that is it. Its fairly simply, at least to me. I mean, for those 3 questions, those 3 answers stands WAY out to me. But what do I know. I only have wrestling in my blood...

Sports Sunday and the TNA Situation...

So I can't even sit here and come up with a title for this, but maybe I can have one by the time I get all my thoughts out.

Yesterday was a pretty big in sports. The NFL playoffs are heating up leading to the divisional championships next week, and all 4 games had so much importance placed on them. Plus for all the action sports junkies out there (which I am as well), the second stop on the Dew Tour was held over the weekend, getting everyone amped for the Winter X Games im sure, as well as the Winter Olympics. Also, for the tennis freaks out there (again that is me to), the Australian Open started last night. Only 2 NBA games last night, which is good for me cause so much else was going on. And finally the TNA Genesis PPV was last night as well, featuring the return to pay per view of Hulk Hogan. TNA will be discussed in length I assure you. But first im just gonna hit a few highlights of everything else. A very slim highlight of everything else mind you, this TNA thing is what I really want to talk about.

I'll start with the NFL Playoffs on Saturday. First game on tap was a disappointing (to me) loss handed to the Baltimore Ravens by the Indianapolis Colts, 20-3. Words can't describe how I feel about the progress I thought the team had, which resulted in a loss. The Ravens D played hard all game. And this game could have easily went the other way. Ray Rice had a pretty decent game, but had a few slips. In the end those few slips cost the Ravens maybe 21 points and the win. It hurts to have a year end like that, but I think the fact they made the playoffs and did something no other team has done for 30 years against the Pats is still a good run. But what do I know.

Second game was the Saints beating the Cardinals at home 45-14. Glad the Saints are still in it, but not really happy about the next game they gotta play. As a football fan I am, but as I Saints fan I am kinda nervous. Nothing much I want to report here except for how big a day Reggie Bush had. Goo look at his numbers. Crazy. Again only highlights as I got a lot to cover. But I will say the punt return for a TD was very nice. Kinda sealed the game for me.

Vikings beat the Cowboys 34-3 in a blowout that many fans thoughts the Cowboys would win. Sorry Romo, you had an off day at the worst time of the season. But they did get a playoff win for the first time in 13 years, so is that not a win for the season since its all said & done? I think so.

Last game was the Jets beating the Chargers 17-14 which the Chargers should have won. Im not even gonna get into this game, cause of the Chargers fan that just might read this. Sorry guys. Look to next year, all you can do.

So next weekend we have the games as follows:
Vikings @ Saints
Jets @ Colts

Im taking the Colts, & I want to take the Saints, but there is just something special about that Vikings team. Maybe its Favre. Always been a fan. Maybe its Percy Harvin, seeing how I gotta rep Gatornation. Who knows, still like that team though. I will make a pick later in the week.

As far as the Dew Tour goes, im only gonna say one name: DANNY DAVIS. Look it up. Totally awesome.

I want to also hit a non-sports subject here, Conan O'Brien. This is his last week host the Tonight Show. This is the news that has kept me angry at NBC. I really want to boycott everything NBC, but that really just can't happen. Tom much going on with NBC or the other networks they own. Most notably Chuck on NBC, where the fans are having to fight to keep this show alive. Also USA network, which I watch a lot of during the week, not to mention watching Raw. Which I will do tonight. All I want to say is to Mr. Zucker. You suck. Do the RIGHT thing, forget about Leno, give Conan and the people what they want.

As for tennis goes, my favorites are Maria Sharapova from Russia and Andy Roddick from the States. Maria lost last night in the opening round of the Australian, which blows my mind. Roddick wins in straight sets though, so I am relatively happy as far as tennis goes for now. Still can't believe Maria lost. What a drag.

Nuggets win last night over the Utah Jazz 119-112. Didn't see most of it, but I still like the way Denver is playing. Carmelo is beasting it up on the hardwood. If he can stay healthy, he is going to make a serious run for the MVP this year. Also the Nuggets should get back to the Western Conference Finals against the Lakers, if all goes right in the world of the NBA. Future blog coming sometime before the All Star break that is going to be all NBA. Look forward to it.

Its Monday, which means an all new Chuck is on tonight on that network that doesn't know how to do things properly.

Now, on to TNA. After watching most of the ppv last night, I want to hit on a few things as this Hogan situation (not to be confused with "The Situation" from Jersey Shore). Hogan has decided to do a lot of changing up of TNA. So im gonna try to list the big ones from last night, but if I miss one let know and I will fix it.
Changes:
1. Replaced the 6-sided ring with a regular 4-sided one.
2. Ken "Don't Call Me Kennedy" Anderson debuts.
3. Brian Kendrick.
4. Jeremy Borash being taken off TV.
5. Tag Title Situation.
6. Knockouts Title match.
7. Reaction to the fans.
8. AJ/Kurt/Flair
Im going to hit on these in no particular order from how I listed them.

First thing, Jeremy Borash being taken of TV is dumb, unless he is using this time to take a little vacation. Which I think he deserves. No one works harder on and off camera to get the point across. He is golden. Now he is a little annoying at time, but he does have a cult-like following. So he's not all bad.
The Knockouts title was just funny from where I sit. It was different, having Tara win the belt in 2 consecutive falls instead of losing one and winning two. 2 ou tof 3 falls matches are hard to do right a lot of times. Fans used to love these matches back in the day, but I don't know if they do so much now. Anyway, I think giving the title back to Tara after her losing it on the live Impact 2 weeks ago was kinda pointless. But then at the same time not. It made sense, but not. I liked it, but I didn't. Confused? I am to.
The Tag Title thing kinda rips at me cause I love tag team wrestling, and it seems that TNA is doing the same thing WWE has done in the past by just putting two guys together and giving them the belts. This can be done right, but in wrestling today, its done to much. Not a fan of this decision when the Motor City Machine Guns, who have a cult like following, fail to win th titles a month earlier. A match that had no build up at all. Neither did this one really.
Brian Kendrick came out last night and just looked like he didn't care at all about milking the moment. Which is probably what he was told to do, but I think in this situation (again, not to be confused with that other guy) he should have.
Ken Anderson coming into TNA I am a big fan of, I love his stuff. His in ring works is really good, as long as he has someone well to mesh with. However, this whole "lets do the same thing I did in WWE cause it was over like a mofo there and can get over just as well here" gimmick that he is doing I am not a fan of. That is just a big middle finger to Vince, which they are going for, but if not careful will slapped with a lawsuit for gimmick infringement. This is something TNA can not have right now. No way. TNA will die if that happens. And Vinny Mac is just the guy to do that.
AJ Styles and Kurt Anfle again put on a clinic. Expect nothing else. The sour note from this match could have been the ending though with AJ apparently turning heel and having Flair as his mentor. I really think this is a good idea and this is going to bring Sting back into the fold. So I am a fan of this already, although I know most fans are going to hate it at first, they will come around. AJ does great as a heel. This will be even better than he has ever done, because now he has Flair in his ear. Who by the way is one of the greatest heels of all time. Im just saying. Look it. Some of the things Flair has done, PRICELESS.
Now, on to the biggie. Hulk Hogan has done away with the 6-sided ring.

I know you needed a moment to gather your thoughts, so there it was. Pay close attention to what I am about to say. IT WAS A SMART MOVE! I know, I can't believe I just said that either. But Hogan is doing the one thing he needs to be doing right now. He is getting people to talk about TNA. Whether it is TNA fans or wrestling fans in general. It was a smart business decision to get rid of it. Now, does that mean I agree with it. No. I don't. I think TNA needed that ring to help them show how different they are. But I understand it coming from a business standpoint. It makes perfect sense. He needs people talking about TNA. Hogan said last night, "6 sides only got you so far..." which I agree with. Now personally I liked the 6-sided ring. It was innovative, even if they did steal the idea from AAA in Mexico (along with the steel asylum they also stole, but just made it smaller). Hogan is trying to take TNA, and the wrestling world back to when wrestling was pure. I don't know that its gonna work though, cause I think to much damage has been done by Vinny Mac. Old school fans are going to see that ring and immediately not like it because it is not a true wrestling ring. Which it wasn't. That was the point. I think Hogan dicked the wrestlers on that more than he did the fans though, because non of the wrestlers knew that was happening until it already happened. I just wonder what the buzz about it was in the locker room last night & if the wrestlers are really pissed about it. I mean, you got no wrestlers, you got no show. And not just anybody can get in the ring and put on a show like the TNA wrestlers have the past 7 years. If the wrestlers unionize and say they are not willing to make that change just yet, who knows what is gonna happen. Im gonna be interested to see how this unfolds, now that I have given it some thought. Hogan trying to draw the fans back in after they were told change is happening and they better get used to it was funny. Then he cut a promo on Vince. Which I still think is dumb. I mean if memory serves me correct, and it usually does on wrestling history (and i dare someone to challenge me on that), didn't they do the same thing in WCW? And didn't WCW get bought out by Vince? Think about that. Going to war is one thing, but standing in a ring calling out the other promotion is not right. That is not a smart business decision. But like I said, it going to interesting to see where this goes from here. TNA will most likely make the move to Monday nights, but I think if they were smart, and Spike TV as well, they would still put on a show on Thursdays. That is smart.

Now I know a few people that is going to disagree with me on some of this, but I think that if you really sit down and think about it, its not all that bad. I mean the business has to change to progress. It has to. IT HAS TO. Hogan knows that. I just hope he makes everything progress and not give us WCW in a new box...

Random Chaos...

This is used as a time for the random goings on in my life right now. So bare with me. Im gonna make a point at the end. Or at least I am going to try to make a point.

First thing I feel as if I need to get off my chest, the first 3 episodes of Chuck's 3rd season was nothing short of amazing. Im so pumped for the 4th episode this Monday. This show is absolutely fantastic. How many times do I have to say it? As many as needed to get the point across. Awesome! Got it?

Now on to NBC. The same network that airs Chuck (which also canceled Chuck before the fans spoke out, see the below blog) has decided that the experiment with having Jay Leno at a 10/9 ct time slot with his show is just not working out. So NBC, in their infinite wisdom, has decided to move his show back to 11:35/10:35 ct and moving the tonight show to after midnight. WTF? Then it would not be the tonight show. It would be the morning show. This is dumb. Apparently, Leno has already signed a new deal and he is moving back. But Conan is not happy. In fact he said that if it goes through, he will not continue on with the Tonight Show. Can't say that I blame him. Leno passed on the torch and now he is trying to come back to reclaim his old position. This is why NBC is a laughing stock. Tremendous support has been shown with with everyone taking jabs at them. Especially Conan. Jimmy Kimmel has taken many stabs at Leno, but I secretly think he is just doing it to get ratings. His show is on against the last half hour of Conan's. Anyway, a friend told me last night that Conan's last taping is going to be next Friday. B/S! NBC is going to loose big on this one. That is my prediction.

Is it Monday yet? Im ready for Chuck.

The wrestling world has somewhat been turned upside down, or at least the start of the turning upside is upon us. TNA is trying to go to war with WWE. They got guts. I still think its a smart business decision, being that I have a degree in business (or will in May). TNA has been putting on show for over 7 years. They needed to take that shot. Timing was pretty good for this I think. They just needed to do it right. Bringing in Hogan to fight with them is the perfect way to do it. I don't know that I like everything going on storyline wise there just yet, but only time can change my mind. With the Genesis ppv this weekend, things should really to start unfolding nicely. Let's all hope so. A wrestling war is going to make not just TNA better, but WWE as well. Seeing how WWE is going to be starting the setup for Wrestlemania with the Royal Rumble coming up at the end of the month. Only time will tell how this goes. I for am still excited to see how things go.

NFL playoffs are in the second week this weekend. Last weekend was pretty much a blowout week. I mean 3 of the 4 games were blowouts. Biggest shocker of a blowout was the Baltimore Ravens blowing out the New England Patriots. WOW! I mean who saw that coming? It was pretty great for me though, as I am a Ravens fan. Only non-blowout game was the Cardinals @ the Packers last week. This game was an offensive battle. The defenses for both teams pretty much sucked it up. I mean think about it, either 91 or 96 points scored all together. Can't remember. Cars win, with a lot of luck, and I do mean A LOT of luck, in overtime. Jets wins as well as the Cowboys. Cowboys was no shocker to me, but now people are putting to much stock in them I think. They are good, but not that good.
This week's games are as follows:
Cardinals @ Saints
Ravens @ Colts
Cowboys @ Vikings
Jets @ Chargers
So this week's games look really good on paper. Ravens definitely have the best shot of knocking out a top seeded team. Ravens did it last year. They also have a very good record on the road in the playoffs. Plus coming off that game last week and the fact that the Colts starters haven't played in a game in a month, this could be a disappointing weekend for all Colts fans. Sorry Shyne, but these things happen from time to time. BUt if the colts win, its not gonna be that big a deal to me. Im just happy they got in the playoffs in the first place. But if they could make it to the Superbowl, yeah, that would be pretty awesome. And they can do it. Just gonna take a little work & a lot of rushing the ball. Maybe a few miracles by Flacco. But Rice is gonna have to come up BIG. In other games, I see all the other top seeds winning. Not without a lot of work though. my picks: Chargers, Saints, Vikings, and Ravens. Just my thoughts on it though.

Also I gotta hit the fact that school has started back for me, my last semester. THANK GOD! Can't thank God enough for getting me this far. I can only do so much. Passing a few of the classes I did took a miracle. And I got some. Just hope I haven't used them all up. Looks like I might need a few already. I don't think I wil need a miracle to pass everything this time, but just the help to get to the end. This last semester is going to be so jam packed, I can already feel it. But bring it on, cause there ain't nothing I can't accomplish with a little help. That has been proven constantly.

Well I am out peeps. Hit me up and give me some ideas on things to ramble on for next time. Send me a shout either in my email at chrischaos2005@yahoo.com of follow me on twitter at www.twiiter.com/theanswerchaos. So hit me up...

Chuck: the Fans vs NBC

So anyone that is keeping up with me on twitter or facebook, they will tell you that I have spent the last few weeks obsessing over the TV series Chuck that comes on NBC. Chuck is that show that represents something a lot guys wish was their life. Being a CIA spy and having a smoking hot CIA agent as your girlfriend. Even if this one happens to be a pretend one. Even though its not so much one. This show, in my opinion as well as millions more, is probably the best show on TV right now. The fact is, it almost ended right before our eyes. Late last season it was announced that Chuck had been canceled after season 2. Whether it was canceled or just not renewed, it all means the same thing to fans. There would be no more Chuck. And just when it was starting to kick some serious ass.

Move to the night of the season 2 finale. A lot of Chuck fans had already been given the news that the series was not being brought back for a 3rd season. Many fans flocked to Subway on that night, one of the main sponsors of the show. It was kind of a ground movement with Subway to get the show renewed. It worked. Fans demonstrated that they can get things done, by banding together and focusing for a common goal. SAVE CHUCK! Glad it worked. The season 2 finale was a decent show up to the point after Ellie, Chuck's sister, gets married to Captain Awesome. Then things heat up and the story moves forward as if the next season was going to happen. Which now it is.

I think it is the appropriate time for everyone to go to this link:

This is going to catch everyone up on anything they might have missed. I decided to just add the link instead of explaining it all myself. I think Give Me My Remote (www.givememyremote.com) did a better job explaining it then I could. Videos are included, but a very detailed explanation is also given, for those that can't watch the videos.

Chuck season 3 begins tonight on NBC. A special 2-hour premiere starts at 9/8c! You better believe I am going to be watching. The question now is, will you...

Texas & Bama...

After watching the National Championship for college football I am left with two different opinions. I live the SEC but I hate Alabama. No real dilemma though. I pulled for Texas to win the title for two reasons. The first was that I picked Florida and Texas to play for the title. Florida because the Gators are my favorite college team, no matter what sport, and Texas because I felt like they were cheated last year. Well Florida loses to Alabama but Texas makes it. BARELY. Its cool though. The second reason I pulled for Texas cause I don't like Alabama. But I already covered that.

Two big things caught my eye during this game (besides that Mark Ingram is a beast). The game might have went differently had Colt not went down. Still looks bogus to me, but whatever. The second was that Alabama still has no class. Its not enough for them to win, but taunting the other team, while the game is still going on is not something I approve of. That would be reason #1 I don't like Bama. Oh well. Some people are just like that.

In all honesty, Bama is going to be the team to beat next year in the SEC, maybe in the whole BCS. Who knows? They could be back next year playing for a national title. It does help the SEC that they won though, which I guess is why some of the most hardcore Gator fans I know were cheering for Bama tonight. Anything for the SEC I guess. Im neither for or against this. So whatever happens, happens.

But I will always be a Florida Gator! Nothing will ever change that...

TNA did not impress tonight, not me anyway...

So I figured that I would critique the firsts Impact of the New Year. Not to mention is a 3 hour show with Hulk Hogan making his first appearance. After 25 years of life and being a wrestling fan, I have decided that since this was “the biggest night in TNA history,” I would examine the whole show and see what we really have with Hogan coming in and taking charge. Now be fore warned that I am writing this from the notes I took while watching the show. I am a big TNA fan, but feel that three is a lot they can improve on. Too bad for them they didn’t improve on anything with this show.

TNA goes live and they show a flashback montage of the last 7 years. All the way back to the first show. Then Mike & Tazz hype the “card” that has been presented. Here is where the mistakes by TNA come. First, why tell people you are going to have these matches and then not have them? And why even say your gonna have a Barbed Wire match against 2 guys that have not wrestled each other in over 2 years. Makes not sense.

Needless to say the Barbed Wire & Full Metal Mayhem matches don’t happen.
They start off the show quickly with the Steel Asylum for the X Title. Nice start. And yes Tony Dabbs, that is a smart booking decision. However the match is more spot fest, which is always entertaining, but could be better. Alex Shelley even goes to climb the “structure” and no one goes after him. Did they forget that if he gets out of the asylum than he wins? So he has to sit and wait for someone to try to pull him down. Then Homicide pulls out a police baton and starts beating the hell out of people. DQ. WTF? Is this not a cage match? Thought there was no dq? The fans chant & I quote: “THIS IS BULLSH*T! THIS IS BULLSH*T!!!” I totally agree.

Then Jeff Hardy comes out, which pisses me off cause he goes back to TNA after how they done him before. WHAT? Is he high again? I mean he has to be. To me it makes no sense. Someone have him call me to explain it. Cause I don’t get it.

Cut to the Beautiful People playing poker. Made them out to be stupid and skanky. Not a fan of this.

ODB & Tara for the KO Titles should have been a classic 10-12 minute match. But they only got 3 minutes. WTF? That is horrible. What is TNA thinking? I mean come on. 3 minutes for a match in which the pride of the company, being the Knockouts, are being displayed. Morons.

Ric Flair shows up. Great, now its looking more and more like WCW to me.

30 minutes into this and its very lackluster.

Now they deny Foley in. Gotta be continuing the storyline. Then Lashley comes out and says he wants out of his TNA contract. Well actually he didn’t say a word. His wife did. She looked like she knew exactly what she was doing. Got some major heat. Always a fan of that though.

Hal & Waltman show up. Looking even more like WCW. Or the nWo maybe.

Hogan comes out finally after an hour of B/S. A lot of time was wasted in between the Tara/ODB match and this. Mindless dribble kind of stuff. The Hogan entrance happened about 3 minutes before Raw went live. Which I saw coming. They don’t want people changing over to see Bret when Hulk has something more important to say. I liked his entrance into the studio area though. Police escort, very nice. Hulk doesn’t get to say much before Hall and Waltman jump the guard rail, after they finally got in. Hulk tells them to get in the ring for more time wasting, and pandering kinda stuff. Hogan says “its time to grow up, its time to do the right thing for this business.” Agreed. Nash comes out. Eric Bischoff comes out and pretty much tells them how things are going to be. “Everybody has to got to earn their position in this company.” Cool. Eric then says the format for the show is not what they think it is going to be. Changing everything already huh?

Sting is shown in the rafters. Only once and he never made an actual “appearance” in the ring during the show.

Knockouts Tag Title match. Nicely done. Very physical. They actually gave them 9 or 10 minutes. Could have been more, but ok for what they needed in this match. Motor City Machine Guns are shown beat down in the back during the match.

Cut back to the Beautiful People playing poker. Sean Morely shows up; Val Venis for those who don’t know.

They promote TNA Epics only once from what I can remember.

Raven/Dr. Stevie vs Hernandez/Matt Morgan was a joke. Barely even 35 seconds. Could have been a good match.

Pope does a great interview. Orlando Jordan shows up kinda randomly while Pope is explaining why him and Wolfe is going have a good match. Pope vs Wolfe was given like 8 minutes maybe and they had a great match for it being only 8 minutes. TNA should have spent more time with actual wrestling and not all these backstage things. Wrestling fans want wrestling.

Jeff Jarrett comes in the building, Rhino is beat down in the back, looks more like nWo to me. They change the planned AJ Styles/Kurt Angle match for the ppv to tonight, which might save the show.

Double J comes out, says they will take over the world. Love to see Jeff’s passion in this promo. Hulk cuts him off and says that he has no power anymore. Jeff needs to get in line like everyone else. More storyline stuff. Good to see they are actually trying to work some storyline material into the show. After this Foley gets in.

Abyss vs Samoa Joe is next. Something we have never seen. Like it. Not given a lot of time though and then Abyss taps. Makes the “Monster” look way weak. They cut to Sting in the back during this. No reason. They just do it.

Ms. Lashley confronts Eric. She has attitude and im loving this. Very nicely done.
Beer Money laid out now. Stupid. People get beat up and they do nothing with it. Maybe nest week.

Nasty Boys throughout the whole thing is dumb. They are WAY over the hill. Why are they there? This is what I thought would happen when Hogan took over. All these old guys coming back in and killing all the new stars in the business.

Angle cuts an intense promo. Always good. No one can argue that fact.

Jeff Hardy & Shannon Moore moment was dumb. Nice car Jeff was driving though.

AJ Styles vs Kurt Angle needs no explanation. A wrestling clinic for sure. But what else would you expect from these two.

Show ends with Foley getting to his office and find Bischoff. What a good ending though as Hall and Waltman beat him down. Hulk wakes in & is disgusted I guess. Way to up close shot of Hogan as they go off.

All in all the show in my opinion sucked. They spent to much time trying to “build” stuff for the future and not enough time trying to showcase the talent, which has always been TNA’s problem. They are never gonna be the “number one wrestling company” as Hogan said doing things like this way. They need better booking and better ways of showcasing the talent. At the end of the day, the talent is what is going to make them great. TNA has a loyal following and I will continue to watch, as long as Hogan doesn’t continue to let things go on like this. Hogan is saying all the right things at this point, but only time will tell whether or not he goes through with what he is saying. Im all for bettering the business and I think TNA can do it. I, as many others, want the days of the WWE/WCW war to return. But I do NOT want the same guys trying to recreate history. Let the guys in TNA create their own history. That way the fans really are the winners...
